This notice explains how BASICDOSE handles personal data when you visit bowlup.eu, send an enquiry or contact our team.
1. Who is responsible
BASICDOSE s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 24633534, is the controller of your personal data. Our registered office is Dlouhá 730/35, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic. Our working office is Na Sekyrce 1392/2, 160 00 Prague, Czech Republic.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email sales@basicdose.com, call +420 777 704 111, or write to our registered office.
2. What we collect and why
Enquiries and business conversations. We process the information you provide: your name, email, company, country or market, business type, product interests, selected flavours, and any optional telephone number or message. We use this to respond, arrange requested calls or samples, and discuss a possible business relationship.
For enquiries made on behalf of a business, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering requests and managing business relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you contact us personally to take steps towards a contract, Article 6(1)(b) applies. We may also keep information needed to meet legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c).
Website operation and security. Our hosting service processes technical information such as IP address, requested pages, browser information, request times and security events. The enquiry service uses a temporary coded IP identifier to limit repeated submissions. This supports our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website and preventing spam and abuse.
Providing enquiry details is voluntary. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to handle your request through the form; optional fields can be left blank. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for newsletters or marketing.
3. Who receives your information
Information is available to authorised BASICDOSE team members and the service providers needed to operate the website and business email. These include our website host, Vercel Inc., and FORPSI for business email, acting under appropriate data protection arrangements. We may share relevant information with professional advisers or public authorities where needed to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal data.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Vercel’s processing and transfer arrangements are described in its Data Processing Addendum. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request and manage any resulting business discussions or relationship. Once it is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it unless a legal retention duty or a need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims applies. In those cases, retention follows the applicable legal period.
Technical and security records are kept only as long as needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service, including investigating a specific incident. The enquiry service uses rate-limit records for a 10-minute window. Expired records are removed during subsequent request cleanup or when the server process ends.
5. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict its use, and receive data in a portable format where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. We will assess your request and explain any legal reason that prevents us from fulfilling it.
Contact sales@basicdose.com to make a request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is necessary, we will tell you within that month.
You can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), or the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred.
6. Cookies and automated decisions
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels or a marketing profiling system. Fonts, images and videos are served directly with the website. The enquiry form does not store your entries in cookies or browser storage. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our services or data practices change. The current version is always available on this page.
